TEAM UNLISERBISYO SECURES MAJORITY SEATS IN THE 2025 LOCAL ELECTIONS

‘Team Unliserbisyo’, led by incumbent city mayor Belen Fernandez, secures 12 political seats, ensuring a majority bloc in the 2025 local elections held on May 12, Monday.
Driven by their political battle cry “Sulong Dagupan,” the group won the mayoral, vice mayor and 4th District Representative seats while securing 9 seats for city councilors.
The political win marks Fernandez’s second term after her mayoral comeback at the last 2022 local elections, with incumbent vice mayor Dean Bryan “BK” Kua sealing his final term after a 3-term consecutive victory on the vice mayor position.
The local chief executive bested her mayoral opponent incumbent city councilor Celia Lim with over 81,977 votes, posting 39,777 margin of votes from the 87.51% voters’ turn-out in the city of Dagupan.
Meanwhile, Kua retained his seat securing 65,765 votes triumphing over former city mayor Brian Lim.
Joining the roster of incoming city councilors are re-elected Councilors Michael Fernandez & Jigs Seen; re-electionists Atty. Joey Tamayo, Karlos Reyna, Chito Samson, & Marvin Fabia; first time councilors Danee Canto, Tala Paras & Dr. Jaja Cayabyab, and re-elected Councilor Dada Reyna from the political slate “Team Life.”
