MAYOR FERNANDEZ COMMENDED FOR PNP SUPPORT

DAGUPAN CITY – Mayor Belen T. Fernandez was among 53 mayors in the region who were commended by the Philippine National Police (PNP) – Regional Office I for their  invaluable support in the implementation of PRO1 programs and projects, thereby contributing to the attainment of the mission of the PNP.

The award was handed by PNP Regional Director PCSupt. Romulo Sapitula, Acting Deputy Regional Director for Administration PSSupt. Herminio Tadeo, Jr. and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Director James Fadrilan during the traditional flag-raising ceremony at Camp BGen Oscar M Florendo in Parian in San Fernando City, La Union on October 29.

Among those present included Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino III, Pangasinan 2nd District Representative Leopoldo Bataoil, Dagupan PNP Chief PSupt. Jandale Sulit, and other local chief executives and PNP heads from Pangasinan and other provinces in the region.

Others commended for their high level of commitment in helping the PNP organization accomplish its mandate were three congressmen and all the four governors of Region 1. (Verdelle De Vera/CIO)
