Ms. Jasmine Dioquino and Ms. Sophia Samonte once again brought pride to Dagupan City after winning GOLD Awards at the International Stage Music and Performing Arts Competition, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on December 7 to 8, 2025, where they proudly represented Team Philippines on the global stage.
In recognition of their remarkable international achievement, the two young artists were awarded Plaques of Commendation as Outstanding Dagupeños today, Monday, January 5, 2026, by the Sanggunian Panlungsod of Dagupan City, led by Vice Mayor Bryan Kua.
Mayor Belen T. Fernandez praised the two awardees, saying, “Jasmine and Sophia have shown the world what Dagupeño talent truly means. Their discipline, courage, and pursuit of excellence remind our young people that Dagupan City belongs on the world stage, standing with the very best.”
Their success was achieved through close collaboration with MARYLIZ Voice Clinic And Performing Arts Studio, whose mentorship and training continue to mold world class Dagupeño performers.
