DAGUPAN CITY BAGS ALIGUAS AWARD FROM PHILIPPINE RED CROSS

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) recognized the City Government of Dagupan with the prestigious ALIGUAS Award during a ceremony held on Wednesday, August 26, at the Sison Auditorium in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

Councilors Jigs Seen, together with Councilor Joey Tamayo and former Councilor Maybelyn Fernandez, received the award on behalf of the city. The recognition was conferred in acknowledgment of Dagupan’s proactive and dedicated efforts in advancing voluntary blood donation in 2024, with a total of 36 blood units collected.

This honor underscores the administration of Mayor Belen T. Fernandez’s steadfast commitment to saving lives and its ongoing initiatives to foster health, solidarity, and volunteerism in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross.
