2,580 DAY CARE CHILDREN ENJOY ‘LIBRENG SINE’

DAGUPAN CITY – In observance of the National Children’s Month, some 2,580 daycare pupils from 46 child development centers in the city were treated to  a free movie  at CSI Cinema on December 13.

The pupils, accompanied by their parents and Child Development Workers, saw the movie,  ‘The Grinch’, with free snacks provided by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).

‘The Grinch’ is an animated Christmas comedy film and is the third screen adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s book entitled ‘How the Grinch Stole Chrismas!’.

Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, along with Liga ng mga Barangay President Dean Bryan Kua, Councilor Joey Netu Tamayo and former Councilors Karlos Reyna IV and Michael Fernandez joined the children to make sure they all enjoyed the movie. .

‘Libreng Sine’ is a yearly tradition being given by Mayor Fernandez, which  started when she was still a councilor. The special activity is a yearly treat given to toddlers every National Children’s Month celebration.
